Step 1 — Required

Categories

Create one or more categories. Per category you set the match duration, scoring, tournament format and the number of groups. A separate match schedule is generated for each category.

Step 3 — Required

Fields

Add the fields on which the matches will be played. You can add multiple fields. Select per field which categories are allowed to play on it.

Adding fields in Mijntoernooi.info

Specify per field which time slots are not available for which categories. For example if a field is only available in the morning, or if there is an irrigation break.

Add a site map of the tournament venue. The map is shown on the visitor page and helps participants and supporters find the fields. The map is saved in your own library and is also available for future tournaments.
Adding site map to tournament

Add referees to the tournament. Per referee you set which categories and fields they are available for. The system takes this into account when automatically assigning referees to matches.

Step 4 — Required

Teams

Add the participating teams per category. You can enter teams one by one or paste a complete list of team names. You can choose to let the application automatically search for logos for the entered teams. The system automatically distributes the teams across the groups when generating the tournament.

Add activities that are shown in the match schedule. For example an awards ceremony, collecting lunch packages or reception of teams. An activity can be linked to a specific field and categories. Optionally a field can be temporarily reserved exclusively, so that no matches are scheduled simultaneously on that field.

Step 5 — Required

Generate the tournament

After completing all required steps, you generate the tournament. Mijntoernooi.info automatically creates the match schedule, groups, standings, phases and finals. After generating you can further supplement the tournament with additional components. Publish the tournament when you are ready — only then is the visitor page visible to participants and supporters.

Changing room allocation

Assign teams to changing rooms. This is only possible if the destination (girls, boys, women or men) has been defined for both the changing rooms and the categories. The allocation is shown directly on the visitor page.

Floor plan

Add a floor plan of the changing room area. The floor plan is shown on the visitor page and helps participants find the changing rooms.

Add sponsors to the tournament. Sponsor logos are shown on the visitor page — as a separate page and as a ticker on the match schedule — and on presentation screens. Per sponsor you add a logo, name and website URL and indicate on which parts of the visitor page the sponsor may be visible.
Adding sponsors to tournament

Send messages to participants and supporters via the visitor page. Messages are shown immediately on the visitor page and on presentation screens. Useful for announcements, changes or other communications during the tournament.
Sending messages via visitor page

Publish the tournament so the visitor page becomes visible to everyone. As long as the tournament is not published, the visitor page is only visible to the organiser. The tournament can however be viewed via a private preview link by a limited number of people. After publishing the tournament is visible to everyone and the QR code generated by the application can be scanned for quick access to the visitor page.
